FREE CONCERT at Kyusi! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!

What wonderful news! A free concert for a cause! All we need to bring are donations (in cash or in kind) to be given to the victims of Typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan Cities.

I am so going! And I'm bringing my Family... my Posse... and my Boo.

Tara!

Plus, cute pa ng name ng event :-)

Biking Quezon City (coming soon!)

I've been eyeing the extensive Bike Lanes in Quezon City -- especially the one going around and inside the QC Memorial Circle and the one criss-crossing the UP-Diliman Campus -- for several months already and have finally acted on the urge... nay, the need, that had been welling-up inside me all those months: I've bought me a rockin Mountain Bike! Sweet!

Just you wait, kyusi bike lanes… once I buy the requisite safety gear (and kikay bike-accoutrements, shemps!), I’m gonna hit the ground running… erm, spinning pala.

Tara! Bike Tayo! J

Bangkok in my mind.

At long last, I finally got to go to Thailand! Weeee!!! Too bad it was only for a day (don't ask)... still, I managed to squeeze-in visits to some "need-to-see" places or two. My absolute fave?
Khao San Road, beybeh!
It has everything one would expect from a real happenin' beach place -- henna stalls, curio shops, places where you can have dreadlocks braided into your hair, cheap food, cool beer, white people in skimpy beachwear walking the main road, stalls giving massages, bargain books, tie-dyed shirts and sundry...

Yups... one can find everything at Khao San Road... everything except the beach, of course.

Fishing in the City? I kid you not!

School vacation finally gave me the time to do some exploring -- online, that is. And after the de rigueur searches on Justin Bieber (gawsh!) and Katy Perry (I wanna BE her), what blog should I wander into but one that contains one of my long-standing frustrations in life... FISHING!

Hibiki's fishing blog is filled with cool photos, helpful fishing tips, interesting tidbits of fish psychology (i swear!) and great (not to mention, surprising) suggestions on where to indulge your angling urges -- with some fishing havens being located within Kyusi itself!

Dang! Imagine that! City Hall Tourism Department, take note please!

So, if you think you smell something fishy... it definitely isn't Hibiki's blog, it's you! Now get your butt off that sofa and Go Fish!

Or, if you're like me, at least fish vicariously through Hibiki's blog. :-)
